2. What data we process

We process the following categories of data:

• Server logs: Each time the website is accessed, the IP address, timestamp, requested URL, and browser and device information are processed technically. This data serves solely for secure operation and is deleted after a short time.
• Newsletter / pre-sale / earlybird list: When you sign up for our email lists, we store your email address and – if provided – your name. We use this data solely to send you information about the Pilatus Fightnight. You can unsubscribe at any time. Entries are received via Netlify Forms (Netlify, Inc., USA / EU edge) before the actual mailing solution and are deleted after transfer to the mailing solution.
• Contact requests: When you contact us by email or contact form, we process the information you provide in order to answer your request.
• Ticket purchases: Tickets are handled via external pre-sale partners. The data collected during the ordering process is additionally subject to the privacy policy of the respective provider.

3. Purposes and legal bases

We process personal data exclusively for the purposes stated in this policy: providing the website, sending event information, answering enquiries, handling ticket sales and fulfilling legal obligations. Where necessary, we rely on your consent, a legitimate interest or the performance of a contract.

4. Disclosure to third parties and processors

To operate the website and send emails, we use specialised service providers that act as processors within the meaning of the revised Swiss Data Protection Act (revDSG):

• Hosting: Netlify, Inc. (USA / EU edge). Processing takes place on servers in the EU/USA; appropriate safeguards (standard contractual clauses) are in place.
• Form intake: Netlify Forms (Netlify, Inc., USA / EU edge) for the secure intake of newsletter, pre-sale and earlybird sign-ups via our website.
• Email delivery: Klaviyo, Inc. (USA) – if activated, for the newsletter, pre-sale and earlybird lists. Until activation, delivery is carried out manually by us.
• Map display: OpenStreetMap Foundation (UK) to display the event location.
• Ticket sales: Specialised ticketing platform (disclosed separately when the pre-sale starts).

Any further disclosure of your data to third parties only takes place if you have consented or we are legally obliged to do so.

5. Cookies and tracking

We use only technically necessary cookies. Tracking by third parties (e.g. Google Analytics, Meta Pixel) does not currently take place on this website. Should we use analytics services in the future, we will inform you transparently here and obtain your consent where required.

6. Retention period

We store personal data only for as long as is necessary for the respective purpose or as required by statutory retention periods. Newsletter addresses are deleted as soon as you unsubscribe.

7. Your rights

You have the right at any time to information about, correction, deletion and restriction of the processing of your personal data, as well as to object to certain processing. You can send requests informally to info@pilatus-fightnight.ch. In addition, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).

8. Changes

We reserve the right to amend this privacy policy in order to keep it in line with current legal requirements. The current version can always be viewed on this page.
